Howdy folks,
Johnny Cat here just dropping by to say hello and let you know what Souled Out have been up to recently.
As ever, we’ve been busy gigging all over the country at parties, wedding receptions, summer balls and corporate functions and we had a couple of corking weekends at Butlins. The gig at Minehead was an absolute blast supporting Jimmy James and playing in front of over 2000 people on the main stage. What a buzz!
We’ve also been loving playing at the PizzaExpress music venues the past few months. Smaller, more intimate gigs which are a lot of fun. Good food, good venues, good music. What more could you want? We rocked it at The Pheasantry in Chelsea. Here’s what one of their customers said on our Facebook page:
“Best way to spend a Friday night with a great bunch of really pro musicians/entertainers. Even Sandra was up dancing, now that is a first. Good venue, loved the gig.”
If you get a chance, get along to a gig at one of their London venues. Even better, come and see us play at the PizzaExpress Music Lounge in Maidstone in September! More info can be found on the PizzaExpress Live website.
Finally, we played a gig down at the Grand Hotel in Brighton earlier in the year and had the crowd up on the dance floor all night long. Don’t believe me? Well take a peek at our latest Souled Out video.
