Wotcha folks,
2014 was a great year for Souled Out with many functions, weddings, birthdays and corporate gigs. We rocked them at festivals and carnivals. We played to packed houses at Butlins Bognor and Potters Yarmouth. We gigged all over the country from London to Birmingham to Manchester to Leeds to Wales and back again!
Last year also saw Chaz get married to the wonderful Vanessa. Huge congrats to them both! It’s also been a year since Carla Winters joined Souled Out and I just wanted to thank her for being a great addition to the band.
We’ve been going for 22 years now and still get the same buzz playing live. It’s great feedback like this that keeps an old boy like me going!
I run a live music venue in Southampton and I just got back from the Soul and Motown Butlins weekender and just wanted to drop you a line to say great show on Sunday afternoon. When a show band that I had not heard of before outshines every other act (except Jimmy James -sorry guys ) that’s quite impressive seeing as some of the other acts were big names. Cheers, Mark.
2015 is going to be another busy one with many functions already booked and many more to come. I’ve had to buy a new white suit (the last one shrunk in the wardrobe) and The Fish is currently painting go-faster stripes on the side of the tour bus.
We’ve got some public gigs coming up over the next few months. More details can be found on our Gig Page plus we’re also putting together a new video for our 13 piece band. Keep an eye out for it on our Facebook page. Don’t forget, you can also catch all the latest from our Blues Brothers Tribute Band over on our sister page – The Bruised Brothers.
